Dr. James Utley with AABB Staff Member at their 2023 Conference
Auragens has sought out oversight from the top local and International governing bodies. We do this to ensure we maintain third party verification of safety and quality of both our biologics and our administration. As we continue to produce evidenced based results, publish in renowned medical journals, and further the art of the possible in the regenerative medicine field, we feel strongly that submitting our work to top accrediting bodies allows us to state confidently that we are at the top of the field.
It is one thing for potential research and academic partners to review our patients results and reach their own incredibly positive conclusions. But it is quite an important layer that we add in to show we have reached the results having accomplished this under the guidance, restrictions, oversight, and knowledge of independent regulatory bodies.
As Auragens currently heads to Houston, TX for this week’s AABB Conference, where our Chief Scientist, Dr. James Utley, will be speaking on a panel, and Auragens will be presenting a paper authored by Dr. Utley and our CEO, Dr. Daniel Briggs, and published in the newest AABB Journal, we felt it was an appropriate time to explain who the AABB is and provide context.
AABB: Advancing Standards in Transfusion Medicine and Cellular Therapies
The Association of Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) is a non-profit organization that primarily focuses on advancing the practice and standards of transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. Their work covers a range of areas related to blood and tissue management, cellular therapies, and regenerative medicine, among other things.
The AABB is highly respected both in the U.S. and internationally. Its accreditation and standards are considered benchmarks of quality in the fields of blood banking, transfusion medicine, and cellular therapies, including stem cell treatments. Several factors contribute to its strong reputation:
